Week 7 NFL Picks Against an 8-Year-Old

The kid keeps rolling along.  He beat us all last week, although it was just by 1.  But he increased his overall lead.  Can he keep it up?

We've got a big weekend ahead of us.  The Aggies take on Alabama, and the Cowboys can't lose!  Also, we are participating in our annual JDRF One Walk, raising money for Type 1 Diabetes research, which benefits the 8-year-old and millions like him suffering from T1D.  If you'd like to donate, please do!

Week 5 NFL Picks Against an 8-Year-Old

Through 4 weeks we're looking pretty good.  No one has completely tanked, and we are all holding our own.  We've always graded the kid against the point spread, just like the rest of us, but this year he's actually taking the spread into his own thinking when picking his winners.  I don't think he knows what to do with that information, but then again, neither do we.

Well look at us.  Through 3 weeks we only have 1 of us under .500.  The kid and his old man are sitting on top despite the 8-year-old's rough week.  Before long we might start charging for access to these picks.

So I was sitting here on a Saturday night watching the Aggies beat the Razorbacks when all of a sudden I realized I never posted the picks.  I even forgot to get the picks from the kid.  My bad.

Well how about that. After years of futility by us here at the Cheap Seats, we had quite the week.  JDaddy was the only one to pick more losers than winners, and even he only missed by 1. Maybe this is the year we get things straight.
