JDaddyDu Mascot League: Wampus Cats and Blizzards Are No More

With all of the great team mascots in the Lone Star State, there is a lot of competition to be in the JDaddyDu  Mascot League. But, there are requirements! And the simplest is that a team HAS GOT TO WIN A GAME!  And so at 0-3, the Itasca Wampus Cats and the Winters Blizzards have fallen out of the JML.  The ‘Cats fell to the Polar Bears 39-14 and the Blizzards were led out of town by the previously winless, and near Mascot League member, Hamlin Pied Pipers 40-0.
Our crack team sports reporters have scoured hundreds of suggestions and have looked at great combinations of mascot uniqueness and team talent. The results are in, and making their debut in our Top 10 will be the Mason High School “Punchers” and 6 Man Football power,  Trent High School Gorillas. Both undefeated and worthy of a spot on the list.
Mason makes the jump near the top of our list while Trent, although undefeated is in the middle of the pack.
It is tough to lose the top spot after a win, so the top 2 remain the same this week, but with a state champion now in the mix, how long the Ricebirds and Polar Bears stay 1-2 is anyone’s guess.
