Like the Broncos, Patriots, Seahawks, and Panthers, I took the bye week off. I know that left many of you refreshing your browsers every 5 minutes in the hopes that I would have posted the results of our annual Cheap Seats experiment.
Refresh no more, as we can officially declare a winner.
Congratulations to the 6-year-old, the first 2-time winner of our pick 'em contest! He didn't coast around the track on the last lap. He kept the pedal down and beat us all in Week 17. He finished with the second best record in our illustrious history, second only to yours truly. Pay no attention that I finished this season with the worst record in our history.
Thanks to everyone for following along. Next season we'll have to tweak the rules for the 7-year-old. Once he understands the meaning of a point spread he'll be taking real money from our pockets.
